We are currently hiring for a Part time Accounting Clerk. 20-25 hours per week.

Job Description: 

Responsible for accurate financial record keeping including using specialized ledgers and accounting software to record and process expenditures, receipts, payroll, and other financial transactions. 

Essential Functions:

Provide accounting and clerical support to the department. 

Type accurately, prepare, and maintain accounting documents and records. 

Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements. 

Make collection calls. 

Reconcile accounts in a timely manner. 

Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database. 

Provide assistance and support to company personnel. 

Research, track, and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies. 

Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas. 

Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws. 

Provide assistance with billing.  


Education and Experience: 

Two years of secondary education plus three years of experience in accounts receivables, accounts payables, or bookkeeping or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  

Competency in MS Office, database management, and accounting software preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. 


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and bookkeeping principles and procedures

Aptitude for numbers.

Well organized, accurate, and detail oriented.

Communication skills.
